Lodge Intruder Game: When the Door Handle Turns, Can You Hold Your Breath?
▶ PLAY FREE NOWNo download · Phone or PC · 3–5 minutes per run · 10 languages“Intruder at the Night Lodge” is a free, choice-based intruder escape game you play right in your browser. On the first night of a company workshop, you arrived late and ended up alone on the third floor of a mountain lodge annex. At 2:47 a.m., the glass in the first-floor lobby shatters. The intruder is a single thief after laptops and the office safe. Footsteps come up the stairs, trying the handle of every room.
The lodge, the intruder and the characters are all fictional, and although the mood is like a ghost story, no ghosts appear. The correct choices follow real safety material (the US Department of Homeland Security’s “Run, Hide, Fight” guide, the Korean National Police Agency’s 112 text and “Knock-Knock 112” guidance, and fire-service guidance on emergency rope descent devices).

How a run plays out
The clock at the top of the screen stops only while you decide (⏱ running / ⏸ paused).
- A noise downstairs: Switch off the desk lamp, turn off even your phone’s vibration, lock the door, and feel your way around the dark room for the info sheet, the door wedge and the rope descent device. Text 112 your address and room number.
- Third-floor hallway: The footsteps come closer, trying the handle of every room. Wardrobe, bathroom, under the bed — where will you hide?
- At the door: The handle slowly turns down. Hold your breath.
- When the footsteps fade: Slip out through the emergency exit, or stay hidden and wait? Whether the intruder really went back down to the first floor changes the answer.
- “Police!”: Is the voice outside the door real?
Hold your breath · Search · Detection gauge · Barricade
- Hold your breath: When the footsteps reach the door, press and hold the button (or the space bar). Let go when the needle is in the green zone — one or two decisive moments per run.
- Search and combine: Feel around the dark room for items, and slide a blanket under the desk legs to block the door without a sound.
- Detection gauge: Phone vibration, door noises and light add up, and the intruder comes to check.
- Door status: Open · Locked · Blocked. A door held only by the handle’s lock button can sometimes be unlocked from outside.

How to survive (in-game answers = real safety tips)
- Run → Hide → Fight only as a last resort. If there is a safe way out, leave your things and get out first.
- When hiding, turn off the lights, lock the door and block it with heavy furniture, and silence your phone down to the vibration.
- Report by texting 112 (address, building, room number, number of people). If you can’t speak, use “Knock-Knock 112”.
- Even if someone outside says “Police!”, don’t open the door until it is confirmed.
- When the police arrive, put down whatever is in your hands and keep both hands visible.

FAQ
Is the lodge intruder game free?
Yes. It is a free browser game with no payments, no installs and no ads. It works on phones, tablets and PCs.

3–5 minutes. Whether the desk lamp is on, whether the lock button catches, whether the emergency exit is open and whether there is a rope descent device change from run to run.
How do I hold my breath?
Press and hold the button (space bar on PC), then let go when the needle is in the green zone. Let go before the footsteps fade and you are found.

The mood is like a ghost story, but no ghosts appear, and there is no blood or gore. Dangerous moments are shown only through screen shake and short lines of text.
Is it based on a real incident?
No. The lodge, the intruder and the characters are all fictional. The correct answers follow public safety material.
How many people survive by guessing?
In bot tests, about 80% of runs chosen by guesswork do not survive. If you know the tips, every run survives.
