Plane Emergency Evacuation Game: In a Smoke-Filled Cabin, Can You Get Out in 90 Seconds?
▶ PLAY FREE NOWNo download · Phone or PC · 3–5 minutes per run · 10 languages“90 Seconds in a Smoke-Filled Cabin” is a free, choice-based plane emergency evacuation game you play right in your browser. On an evening domestic flight home from a business trip, smoke starts pouring from the left engine. Emergency landing, a heavy thud — and the moment the plane stops, smoke rolls along the cabin ceiling. In the next seat, Team Lead Park reaches for his laptop in the overhead bin first.
The airline (Cheongram Air), airport (Gaon Airport) and characters are all fictional, and no real accident is depicted. The correct choices follow real aviation safety material (US FAA passenger safety tips and evacuation certification standards, US NTSB emergency evacuation research, and airline evacuation guidance). This is part 5 of the Escape series in the Survival series.

How a run works
The clock at the top only stops while you decide — but once the plane stops, it runs in real time.
- 9-minute descent: read the safety card, count the rows to the exits front and back, belt tight on your hips, laptop off your lap and under the seat.
- “Brace!”: on the command, head down by reflex, hands on your head, feet on the floor.
- Touchdown and skid: hold the brace until the plane has fully stopped.
- 90 seconds after the stop: release your belt, leave your bags, stay low, head for the nearest exit. A blocked door, thick smoke, a roller bag jamming the aisle.
- Outside the plane: don’t stop at the foot of the slide — go far, upwind.
Two hold-your-breath moments · 90 seconds in real time
- Hold the brace: while the plane skids, hold down the button (or the space bar) and release when it stops (green zone).
- Hold your breath in smoke: cross the thick band of smoke in front of the exit on a single breath.
- Real time: once the plane stops, even your thinking time counts. The smoke comes down from the ceiling.

FAQ
Is the plane evacuation game free?
Yes. It’s a free browser game with no payments, no installs and no ads. It works on phones, tablets and PCs.
How long is a run?
3–5 minutes. Your row, the blocked door and the wind direction change every run, so the right answer changes each time you replay.
What is the 90-second rule?
To be certified, an airliner must show that all passengers can reach the ground within 90 seconds using only half the exits (US FAA 14 CFR 25.803). The big number in the game is the seconds from the plane stopping to your feet touching the ground.
Is it about a real accident?
No. The airline, airport, flight and characters are all fictional, and no real accident is recreated. The answers follow public aviation safety material.
Is there anything gory?
No blood or gore. Dangerous moments are shown only through screen shake, smoke and short lines of text.
How many survive by guessing?
In bot tests, about 88% of players who choose by gut feeling don’t get out. Know the tips and everyone gets out.
